How It Works:
- The application provides an integrated control solution for two main system components: the Main System Controller (MSC), which controls the overall chemical flow interfaces, and the Chemical Delivery Modules (CDM), which performs local control for valves, valve boxes and interfaces to process tools.
- Remote I/O technology enables remote I/O connecting to the MSC, operated by a PLC/CPU controller.
- The CDM is also operated by this type of controller. Each CDM has an LCD operator panel connected to the local PLC.
- Multiple CDMs are connected to the MSC, which acts as a data concentrator. The MSC is networked to the MMI software, and this application is used to monitor the activity of the CDMs, generate process alarms, log data, create reports, generate maintenance requests, and share data with other plant systems.
